Syncing Sections with Cross-Listing

I'm teaching a course with two sections, and one of them is cross-listed with another course. I would love to be able to sync the sections as I continue to make changes to the course in Populi over the semester, as this would be a lot easier than making every change twice. However, I can't sync because of the cross-listing. I would love if this restriction could be removed...
