Populi doesn't currently allow for News to be clearly visible as a banner on all screens. Since the Feed isn't read or noticed by most, and often bypassed by tabs remaining open on specific pages, it's not a reliable tool.
Communications and emails are fine for specific messages, but not for important temporary reminders in the UI.
Please add the ability to use a custom banner (text, color, from/to datetimes), similar to the ones Populi team uses for maintenance notifications, that remain at the top of the Populi UI (maybe with an X allowing the user to close it until next login).
