We need our Academic Dean to be able to access and edit student info, especially related to custom fields in the student profile, Flagging, Violations, Discipline/ Consequences.
At the same time, this role must NOT be able to see evaluation info on other faculty. The role of Staff allows this so does not work and Academic Auditor can't make changes. Please allow custom roles.

She really needs to be able to fully access custom fields in the student profile, without also being able to access sensitive faculty information. We don’t fit into your categories! Please can you allow custom roles here. thank you

Simran Khalsa We need a role that will allow our IT department to implement and test integration (and sso idp) settings without also being able to access individual account information, such as student or faculty pii. Unfortunately the only role that allows that level of access to our site settings (account administrator) also comes with a staff role that has full locked directory access. In this case a custom role might not be possible (as they have to see at least one test user account), but it would be a nice feature to be able to give limited access and change ability to people in specific roles including our Academic Dean, per the request above.

Jaime Babic The ability to have customizable user roles would be so helpful to us. We have many instances where the delivered user roles do not fit our needs.
