Managing To Do's

Would it be possible to place the To Do's for "Today" at the top of the list, or perhaps add a "Hide" option for Overdue To Do's? We won't talk about how many "overdue" items I have at any given moment, but either of those modifications would let me not scroll down so far to get to items due "today" that are actually more urgent/important than ones I had scheduled for a prior date.
