Email Notification For Discussion Replies
Please give us the ability to get email notifications when a fellow student or instructor replies to our posts.

Nicole Thomas YES PLEASE! We should be notified when someone replies to our discussion post in order to continue the discussion in a timely manner. I didn't know someone replied to me until I happened to go back and scroll through everything again.

Satya Levine Our students and faculty are asking for this as well. We are a part-time remote graduate program and our students may only be logging in to Populi once or twice a week for their courses. Most of the time they have no idea if someone replied to their class or lesson discussion post, and they aren't going to log in every day just to check. This ends up negatively impacting the quality of the discussions by limiting participation and engagement. Discussion notifications (for lesson and class discussions) is the number one feature request from our students and our faculty.

Matt Van Dyke I went 3 months without responding to a discussion thread because I didn't know it was there LOL - please enable the ability to send out email notifications for discussions threads in courses. I'm surprised this is not already a feature
