A student recently requested a more detailed tracking feature than what Populi already offers. Here is the request:
"Each week we have different assignments due - sometimes it's a discussion post and 2 replies, sometimes it's a discussion post and 1 reply. It depends. When taking more than 1 class at a time, it can get confusing as to what assignments you've completed and which are still outstanding. I have never taken 4 classes at once, but I imagine that it's super challenging to manage your completion status.
It would be really helpful if Populi would let you track your completion status of things like:
- Assignments: Progress toward the readings/videos
- Discussions: Progress toward the initial discussion post(s)
- Replies: Progress toward one or more reply(ies)"
I know you have some tracking features in place (assignment submission, graded discussions, and the ToDo list) and we also have some strategic tools in place (Activities Checklist), but I think they want more than that.
