I need a report each session with the new students to our program.

I need a report each session with the new students our program; those taking their first course with us. I need to know which students are enrolled/registered in a course for the first time per session. I need to know who are the new students in those classes. Using the data slicer and entering program entrance term and the session number didn't give me the results I need.  Many people fill out applicantions and are accepted into our program but not all of them actually take a class. Your staff helped me but to get this result I spent a lot of time setting it up. Making this easier will be much appreciated.
