Can we bring back pinned posts in the home dashboard news feed?
Having to manually refresh featured posts each time to bring a particular one back to the top every time there is a newer post is cumbersome.
Particularly, in the past we have used a pinned post for Student Resources, which includes links (which can obviously be stored in the links tab) but also paper templates, handbooks, and the like.

Adam Sentz Official comment We aren't planning to bring back Pinning in News, but we can consider solutions for making general info more readily available.

Brittany Kemlo If it helps, we have used a folder in the Files tab (on the top ribbon of Populi) for our student resources. This seems to work well and allows easy updating of templates and handbooks from year to year.
For us, the News feed seems greatly improved because before we had no way to notify the students when a post was made. Now if users could receive email notifications as well as the bell notifications when news is posted, that would be even better!
I am interested to use the updated news features more and see how they work for us.
