I would love if the following options could be added to the Data Slicer:
- Cumulative Units Attempted (Not Incl. Withdrawn Units)
- Term Units Attempted (Not Incl. Withdrawn Units)
I have two use cases:
First, because our refunded amount for withdrawn courses varies based on the date of withdrawal, we default to treating them as 0 credit hours of expected revenue in internal reports. Thus, when I do Data Slicer reports, I have to export and then manually edit the term attempted credit hours of all students with withdrawn credit hours, to produce reports that give a conservative estimate of expected revenue.
Second, our Academic Dismissal policy is based on cumulative units attempted, but factors out withdrawn units, similarly requiring that we manually check all students in those reports before applying disciplines.
Being able to factor out withdrawn units in the Data Slicer would save us a lot of time and remove the possibility of user error.
