The default displayed name on the roster & gradebook is set to student preferred name (POPULI NAME in the software). This causes issues when searching for the student by their LEGAL NAME to input grades and other documentation.
Currently, the gradebook/roster is hard coded to only show POPULI NAME and not the COMPLETE NAME. You may toggle on the individual student's PROFILE but this is not a end user friendly UI as it reduces efficiency.
Is it possible to have an election in the gradebook/roster to change default from POPULI NAME to COMPLETE NAME? The student may see whatever they prefer on their individual profile, but this will ensure LEGAL DOCUMENTATION and grading is accurate and efficient.
This is helpful for profiles, but is not as helpful for grading or legal document purposes.
