Recently, we have had issues on the payment gateway side. Therefore, we want to add a notice to make our students aware of some additional things to consider when they pay.
For example,
3% credit card payment fee will be automatically added when you pay your tuition and fees by credit card.
or
Any e-check returned to WUST from the bank for any reason will result in your account being assessed a $30.00 bounce check fee.
It is critical to show it at the payment page because those charges may be argued or disputed, even though the charge is listed in the catalog and website. A student may argue that the school didn't announce the fee, and it is an issue of accreditation compliance too.
