Beginning July 1, 2026, the OBBB Act permits institutions to set discretionary loan limits. Schools must indicate when an institutional limit is applied at the disbursement level. Populi does not have the indicator field.
Steps users must currently take:
1. Originate the loan,
2. Transmit the loan to COD,
3. Log into COD and find the loan, and
4. Update the Boolean indicator field for each scheduled disbursement.
