It would be very helpful if Populi offered basic analytics for posts in Groups, The Feed, and similar post-based areas.
Some simple metrics that would be useful include:
- Impressions / Views: how many time a post was viewed
- Reach: how many unique users viewed it
- Engagement: how many users clicked into or interacted with the post
- Reactions: reportable counts for "like/love". Currently you have to eyeball each individually.
This would help staff better understand whether important announcements or updates are actually reaching their intended audience and generating engagement.
Even lightweight analytics would be valuable for measuring communication effectiveness to start.
