We would like the ability to configure exams and quizzes to display one question at a time rather than showing the entire assessment on a single page.
This feature would better mirror the testing environment used in nursing education and on licensure exams such as the NCLEX.
Suggested options could include:
- Display all questions on one page (current behavior)
- Display one question at a time
- Allow students to navigate back to previous questions
- Prevent students from returning to previous questions once an answer has been submitted
- Optional question numbering and progress indicator (e.g., Question 15 of 75)
- Compatibility with timed exams and question randomization
This functionality would help institutions create testing environments that more closely align with high-stakes nursing and professional licensure examinations while also reducing the likelihood of students changing answers after progressing through an assessment.
