It would be so helpful if I could see the student view for courses before they are open to the student. When I am preparing a course, I would like to see how it will appear to the student rather than just the admin view. Currently admin can only see it from the student view when the course is open to students. That is not really very helpful when laying out the components of the course. Thank you for considering this option.

Jon Coffee I see what you mean. I just tried to "View course as student" for a summer course, but you literally see what the student currently sees: all the lessons are closed and not visible.

Jordan Nelson Thanks for the feedback! One way to deal with this is to temporarily modify the start date of the course so that the test student in Student View is able to see/progress through the course.
