Currently, the student view of the directory is only grouped into Staff, Faculty, Students and Alumni.
For students viewing the list of other students, this list is very long and the only option to modify the view is to choose whether the list is sorted by name alphabetically ascending or descending. The only metadata that shows is the full name and profile photo.
It would be helpful for our students to be able to see a list of the students filtered by those directly in their cohort. For us, this means being able to filter by tag.
I'd like to request that an administrator be able to select specific tags that all students and staff can use to filter their views of the directory. That way the admins still have control over what metadata is being shared.
