It would be great to have a customizable banner that sits just under the black bar. This could be used for quick access to registration, a news article, or even external links.

Adam Sentz Jeff Bakos - That space is reserved for important things from Populi to a User - there are many different ones that can show up there already. Having them be from either Populi or The School could be confusing. That said, I've thought about this type of functionality a lot. Right now the best thing available is probably Featured News.

Jeff Bakos That makes sense. Is there a way to make the icon next to the navigation menu the home button? I feel like having a quickly accessible home button would greatly improve the update.
