With dozens of courses displayed on the main calendar, students need a way to visually distinguish between assignments, lessons, and classes so that they can effectively plan their time.
Please add a visual indicator to distinguish between these calendar event types.
My suggestion is to just a coloured bullet circle between the coloured vertical line displaying the calendar colour and the text of the calendar event.
