I'm giving an essay question each week asking students to report areas that they don't understand. But to review those answers each week I need to manually click through each individual student's quiz which is rather cumbersome. I would love to have a place where I can see all of the essay answers for a given question on one screen.
So I think my request is caught between two separate issues.
- Short answer + analysis would do this, but I need to assign essay so that students can write a longer answer in the text block.
- But when I do assign essay, it isn't possible to see them all on one screen in analysis or anywhere else.
Further, if I choose short answer to display in one place on analysis, I'm kind of defeating the meaning of short answer since I'm actually asking for an essay. So the feature request could either be:
- Make the text box bigger for short answer. (But that seems to break short answer at least as intended.)
- Or find a way that all of the essay answers appear together under analysis.
- Or find some other path to see all of the answers to a given question consolidated in one place.
