Our school is not Title IV eligible and therefore does not provide a 1098-T for our students. The only way to disable the 1098-T is to go into each student's account and individually disable this feature. It would be very helpful if there was an option to disable the 1098-T for all students at once.

Matt Jepsen Official comment Hello!
Way back in the day (6+ years ago), Populi used to automatically generate 1098-Ts and then you would use that setting to show or hide them from individual students. That is no longer the case and we are likely going to remove that person-level setting completely as it’s confusing.
Currently, 1098-T forms do not show up unless explicitly "Released" for each student for each calendar year. This can be done in bulk from the 1098-T report under Financial -> Financial Aid -> Reporting -> 1098-T. There, you can review the numbers and then show or hide forms for all students, or for a subset. If you do not wish to issue any 1098-Ts for a particular year, you can simply not release them.
It should be noted that many institutions that do not participate in Title IV (federal financial aid) still choose to issue 1098-Ts to their students as tuition and fees paid to any eligible school can be still be used as a federal tax deduction. That is, whether an institution participates in Title IV is completely unrelated to the IRS education tax deduction that individuals can claim. * Nearly any college recognized by an accrediting body qualifies. See this searchable list of schools on the Department of Education's website:
https://ope.ed.gov/dapip* This is not tax advice. Please consult an accountant, etc. We are just relating the fact that we have observed many schools do this.

AJ Zimmermann I believe this is a setting (we are in the same boat).
I found this:
Show form 1098-T data to studentsShould students be able to see their released IRS 1098-T annual tax forms from within Populi?
Yes NoGo to the Financial Tap (tippy top of the page), then the far-right "settings" and scroll down. -
Matt Benoit Thanks! I found that as well and marked it as "no" during our initial setup. However, when I was recently looking in the financial tab on a particular student's profile I noticed that it says this:
I then looked it up and found this help document that says "Populi generates forms for all students by default. However, you can enable or disable 1098-Ts for a individual student on their Profile > Financial > Dashboard view."
I'm currently going through nearly 200 students one by one and disabling it just to be sure.
