Restrict who can delete a person

Please add a setting so a system administrator can restrict who can delete a person from Populi. We now have several cases where someone who didn't understand what they were doing deleted students. I am grateful for the ability to be able to restore a person, but I don't know that a person needs restoring until we are looking and can't find them in Populi...

  The delete person restriction has been added. If a person has student data they may only be deleted by someone with the Academic Admin role. If a person has or financial data they may only be deleted by someone with the Financial Admin role.

  The overly permissive roles was one of our biggest concerns moving to Populi.  Especially since our current SIS is extremely granular with permissions levels. Both adding and deleting people is definitely something we're concerned about happening.  For now we're planning on having support setup automations to send notices to specific people when users/people are added or deleted so we can properly track it and verify the action.  Which is far more cumbersome than just preventing users who shouldn't be able to do that from doing it.

  An Automation can be added to notify you when a person is deleted, and you can add additional criteria like having roles if you need to. If you'd like to set that up please reach out to Populi Support.

  I agree that there should only be a few roles who should have the authority to delete students.  Perhaps just system administrators, Admissions, Admissions Admin, Registrar, and Academic Admin - definitely not those with just faculty or staff roles.

  I would be in favor of restrictions of this nature as well.

  As Registrar at our school, it is very disconserting to know that Faculty and Staff have the ability to delete a student from our system, and while we can reverse the action when it is done, it makes for a lot more work for our system administrator to keep on top of this. We definitely need the ability to control who can do what with a student record.

  I would like to see this restriction added as well.
