Replace Academics -> Schedule with the layout in Campus Life -> Facilities Schedule

Hello,

The calendar layout for Facilities Schedule is vastly superior to the one in Academics Schedule, and I would like to propose replacing one with the other.

  Dave Czarnecki - So you'd like the Academics > Schedule axes flipped so the time is on the X and the location on the Y?

  Hi,

  Whatever options that would duplicate what is seen on the Academics -> Schedule page so that it is the same x-y axis and descriptor layout as seen on Campus Life -> Facilities Schedule.

   

  Facilities Schedule reads easier, has the room names on Y and times on X, and displays conflicts in red, whereas the Academics -> Schedule Layout is jumbled and hard to read.

  But please keep the Export function on the Academics -> Schedule Layout.

  And I know this is a big reach, but can you add a function to export it as a PDF or print the schedule out per room?

  Basically, Populi is like a couple steps away from replacing the need for institutions to have a 2ndary room management system ala Skedda or EMS! Great stuff!

  Dave Czarnecki - Just FYI, the Y axis on Academics > Schedule is Room there just aren't column headings; it displays in a tooltip on each event.

  Oh, I get that. I just find the layout of Facilities Schedule to be 1000000% more efficient to use when doing the academic schedule, haha.
