We're giving the Populi interface a complete refresh in the very near future. Here's Josh to tell you more.

Features & Improvements

The Payee Name check template variable now displays the person's legal name instead of the preferred name.

Middle Name and Middle Initial are now available as username template variables.

We decided to let you filter the Charges/Credits report by GL account.

The amount variables in HTML invoice layouts will now supply the comma for amounts in thousands (e.g. 4398 becomes 4,398).

Library > Reporting > Copies exports now include a column for Home Location.

Bugfixes

If a student who was less-than-half-time was withdrawn from all courses during the reporting term, one of the columns in the Clearinghouse report was not updating to reflect that.

Something we did broke the term dropdown in Campus Life, and something else we did fixed it.

A bug wouldn't let you add transfer credits to a student if they didn’t have a program entrance term.

• Introduction to Billing: This Bastille Day, learn about pending charges, invoices, transactions, payments/credits, tuition schedules, fees and so on. This will be most useful to Financial Admin and Student Billing users. It's scheduled for July 14th, 2026, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
• Introduction to Degree Audit: A week later, get an education in degree requirements, course groups, course mapping, exceptions, transcripts and so on. This will be most useful to Academic Admin and Registrar users. It's scheduled for July 21st, 2026, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
