Is there an existing feature for staff/admin or faculty to be notified when a student drops a class?
For Financial Aid students whose disbursement money is contingent on them maintaining the same credit hours and classes and never add/drop-ing a class, this would be helpful.

Populi was able to set up email notifications that are sent to the instructor whenever a student adds or drops one of the courses they teach. That is very helpful, but it would be great if it could also notify Financial Aid or the student's advisor.

I am interested Adam. I put in a support request on June 2 and was told that would only be for students to be notified of their own Add/Drop.
I was also told that if I wanted the notification of Add/Drops to go to advisers, I needed to submit a feature request. (see below please).......

Yes, a student's advisor isn't currently an option. This feature specifies "staff/admin" being notified, and there is an option for "academic admins" already.
@Lee - There's an existing option to email financial aid staff.

I did. On June 2. With Isaac. Since then, I have no directions on how to access/use the feature.
@S'Rah - It looks like in your request you asked specifically for the ability to email advisors, which isn't currently available. So Isaac directed you to request that as a new feature. If you'd like an automation added where academic admins will be notified we can add that for you. You just need to open a support request and ask for an automation that emails academic admins when student enrollments change instead of asking for one where advisors are emailed.
