I'd like to have the ability to choose how to export dates. Currently the birth date is exported MM-DD-YYYY. I am working on stats where it needs to be YYYYMMDD and have to manually type it out for every student. Other reports may need a different format so it would be great to have options.

David Mize Hey Sarah, you can accomplish this in Excel really easily. If you go to data slicer and get all students and their birthdays to export as XLS, then click the cells that you want to change the date format on. Go to "Format" then "Format Cells." Click on "Date", change the Locale to somewhere in Europe. As a test I did English UK, and then choose the type of formating you want. That will save you a TON of time. I just did the same thing with phone numbers out of Populi.

Sarah Barkman That would be great if Excel had the format I was looking for. Unfortunately there is no option with just the numbers so I'd still have to go back and manually delete all the dashes. I even tried Find and Replace features but excel didn't recognize the dashes as separate.

David Mize Ok, I think I figured it out. Go to the same place, "Format Cells" and instead of "date", choose "custom" type "yyyymmdd"
That worked for me. Let me know.
