I am not sure why the middle names of the Populi users was removed, but it really does make my job in Student Billing more difficult. Before when we could see the middle name we could easily select the correct student, when you have multiple students with the same first and last names. Now I have to click through them all to find the one I am looking for...Not a fan of having to do that.
I hope this gets reconsidered.
@Cindy - We have a setting in testing that will let you choose to show the version with all name fields by default.

You can now choose to have the full name display on profiles via your personal settings. We also updated how people display in search results to make it easier to tell them apart even when they have the same name.
