Cannot identify email recipient (To line) when CC ed on an email

I often cc staff on emails I am sending to a student, in which I've inserted the student's Preferred Name. When I do this, the staff cannot see the name or email address of the student to whom the email was sent.  Instead the email is addressed to the staff person's preferred name.

This has caused a lot of confusion among our staff, who have to email me to ask which student the email was sent to. If I have sent out a lot of emails at once it causes a great deal of extra work and frustration. So, many of us are inconvenienced by this glitch.

Could you please fix this so that if someone is cc'ed they see the original email, including the preferred name of the recipient or the email address of the recipient and not the cc'ed person's preferred name?
