We use Populi and Quickbooks. It's an uneasy marriage, and we try to work between systems as best as we can.
The fact that Populi puts out accounting reports using different names for the students makes what I am trying to do difficult.
To try to automate this, I need to conform the name in Quickbooks with the name in the Populi reports. But, for example, when I pull a Journal Entry report, he’s “Josh Smith.” If I pull reports in some ways he is “Joshua Smith,” but it appears in two columns. If I pull a transaction report he’s “Smith, Joshua.”
Could y'all please arrive at some conformity for naming conventions?
