It would be helpful to have a way to share live documents with a student, such as a continuing journal in which the instructor can make comments within the document yet still allow the student to add entries on the document.

Evan Donovan Would you consider doing that in Google Docs? That's what our school does in similar contexts. I know that is not exactly the same, but would be easier to implement in the interim.

Kristen Wood I echo the request for the ability to share a "live" document within a class. In our case, a prof would like students to sign up for a specific week to give a presentation. If this could be posted to the class page in a live format, as weeks are "claimed," the rest of the class could see what dates are still available.
