I love that we have forms to send students, but it would be nice if there was a tab on each students portal called Documents.
Where we can make students sign various registration, enrollment forms, agreements, etc. that is centrally located, easy to find and sign.

Clay McFerrin Interesting idea, Roy. Would this new tab just be a place to relocate the "Forms" section from each student's Activity Feed, or would it have other features? Would it be just for Populi Forms, or would it also overlap/replace the ability to add various other types of files using a Custom Field on the Info tab?

Adam Sentz Roy Johnson Brown - There's a tab on Home called Forms that sounds a lot like this. Have you checked that out?

Roy Johnson Brown You know, I don't think I realized you can add Forms to the students "Form Section"
I thought they only had to be sent a link. This kind of does accomplish what I was talking about. -
Adam Sentz Roy Johnson Brown - We have been releasing improvements over time so it's possible that functionality was added since the last time you checked. Following our weekly Release Notes is an easy way to keep up to date on improvements etc. If you click Follow on this page you'll be subscribed to those.

Kristine Gripp Sort of along these same lines... if there was a way to tie in the receipt of COD records for MPN and Entrance Counseling completions to auto-update what many of us probably have are Aid Component items, so we don't need to manually check them off as received as that's a step that's easy to miss. That way students didn't need to wait for us to manually do that every day.

Kristine Gripp I love the forms in Populi but agree students have a hard time finding them and it's sort of hard to point them to the right place (my view of them isn't the same as theirs, I don't think). I like the idea of a Documents tab that's more front and center, more visible, to their activities.
Also, not sure if this makes sense, but I think some see that a form has been "Added" and they think they did it already - maybe a clearer status of "Incomplete" would be more obvious.

Adam Sentz Kristine Gripp - We added a Forms tab under Home. Have you checked that out?

Kristine Gripp Yes I've seen that, but our students still never seem to find it on their own. I end up re-sending the link to forms which means they end up with multiple copies of the same form - maybe one submitted and the original request is still in the "added"/ pending status, which I then go in and try to clean up/delete the multiples. If there was a way to link them to Aid Components that would auto update when complete that'd be my ideal scenario. (But then that would only really work perfectly if we could filter by and report /export Aid Component items themselves, I suppose).
