Adam Sentz I'm guessing that before there was a link somewhere to a video file, and now you are able to view the video as an embed in the lesson so it's not as easy to download. That's not really something we have control over - it's down to how your professor sets up the course. If the videos are hosted on YouTube or similar it's still possible to download them. I'd try googling "download youtube videos" or something like that.

Bethany Potter Adam, what about if the file is hosted in Populi? I am the LMS admin andI can't figure out how to allow an embedded file to have 2 options: download or view in Populi. It seems if we choose 'embed the media viewer" when putting in the video, then they are unable to download. If we don't select that option, then the photo preview of the video disappears, which we still want to have.

Adam Sentz Bethany Potter - Videos uploaded in a lesson will always (unless they are hidden) be included in the Files tab in the right column of the lesson page. Students can click the name of the file to open the file viewer, click the three dots at the top right, and then click Download to download the video. If you have further questions about using files in lessons please reach out to Populi Support via a support request.
