Financial Aid Displaying of information

HI

The COE for a student is not the amount that a student will pay the college for the year. DOE requires us to include for example a airline ticket, medical insurance, spending money etc. This figure is used to calculate federal aid amounts but does not directly relate to the actual direct cost to the student to the college. I am getting a lot of upset parents who see the COE being 15k when on our website the direct cost is 10k. I do not think it is necessary for students to see how their awards are calculated.  I would like the ability to hide the COE and the calculation information and just show the award amounts. This would be beneficial to other Canadian schools and no Title IV school who do not participate in US federal aid program. EFC and COE amounts are confusing to Canadian and non Title IV shcools.

My boys attend a school in US and their award do not show COE or EFC or any of the way the award is calculated. It is just a listing of their awards.

Thanks

Dennis
