In order to balance between Populi GL and our main our accounting program and to facilitate our financial audit we need to ability to export standard account reports all sorted by date range and fiscal year.
As you may know each new fiscal year all revenue and expense accounts are "zeroed" Currently there is no way in Populi to get accurate reports that would correspond to fiscal year reports. One quick way to help would be the ability to print a summary GL report by date range. I am sure you could observe in Quick books or other software. These are all standard accounting reports
Here are the reports that all standard software generate and are standard accounting reports:
Balance Sheet
Income Statement
Trial Balance
I have sent sample reports from our accounting software to James and Isaac.
