I would love to be able to adjust the self-enrollment setting at the course instance level (though an overall setting in the catalogue is still fine) as we often have two identical course numbers running at the same time... one allowing enrollment by the student, the other not.

Monida Slupik Were you able to get an answer for your problem?
We are having a similar issue where we have classes that require Academic Approval before the students can enroll, but cannot find a way to "close" the enrollment.
