academic suspension on transcript

I would love it if Academic Suspension would somehow appear on the transcript after the term in which the suspension occurred. It makes good sense for Academic Probation to show up alongside the term the probation is happening in, but suspension typically happens after a term and affects the following terms.

Example: a student completes a semester with a really low GPA. Semester ends April 30. Suspension in affect on May 1. Currently, that suspension won't even show on the transcript unless the student again registers for a future semester... something after May 1. However the student cannot register for a future semester because they are suspended.

Ideally, the probation should remain as is, and suspension should show on the transcript after the term they were suspended, which would typically be at the end of the student's transcript.

We have not been using the feature of printing these details on our transcript up to this point, but just discovered that we are required by our accrediting association to print on transcript when a student "may not continue". Suspension would have been the way to do this, but I can't seem to find a way to do that in the current system. Suggestions?
