Some of our faculty have a hard time viewing the light gray font used to report grades. (In Google Chrome there is no way to override this, however in Firefox you can override the page fonts/colors.)
How about creating a couple of font and font color choices in the settings area?
@Paul - Could you explain what you mean by "the light gray font used to report grades". What part of what page are you referring to?
I always aim to have adequate contrast between text and its background for the sake of legibility in Populi. Perhaps the faculty you mention may need to correct the brightness and contrast settings on their monitors?
The unfinalized letter grades are very light. Even by adjusting the monitor, they still appear very light. I am getting this feedback from more than one faculty member (each with a different monitor). I can read it, but I get where they are coming from. See the pointer in the attached file.
