When one instructor teaches multiple sections of the same course, it would be very beneficial to be able to sync the Discussions portion of the course between all sections. That way, participation in out-of-class learning can take place with the wider group of students taking the same course.

Christal Fehr I agree... at least to be able to turn on a syncing of discussion groups anyway... would definitely want it to be an option that could be controlled and only turned on for specific courses.

Forrest Cooper Absolutely. It would also be helpful if it could be done across different courses. I teach two courses that ware essentially exactly the same. Having the discussion thread between all the students would be very helpful

Niklaas Schalm This would be a great feature for us as well! We need to be able to set up multiple instances of a course in a term so that each can have its own Calendar (thus, multiple course names within the roster or cross-listing can't work--also you can't cross-list the same catalog course with itself), but we would love for them to share Discussions without having to use a Group.
