Currently, registration starts at 12:00AM on the start date. Since online registration is naturally a first come, first served basis, students will have to stay up late to register - which can be quite inconvenient for graduate students who may have families or work early the next day. The only way to control the start time right now is to manually open registration at the desired time. Therefore, it'll be great to be able to specify a start time that's convenient for everyone. If the ability to specify any start time is difficult to implement, perhaps having more time options will be convenient - for example 7am, 4pm, 10pm, etc.
