Currently students are able to see their overall attendance percentage for a class. Then, when they click on the details link it will give them an exact count of the number of absences and tardies etc. What would be REALLY helpful is if the "details" showed the dates that the student was marked absent/tardy/excused (or wherever in populi it is easiest to show this data).
Our school gives deductions in a students final grade for having too many absences so there is a lot of administration work for all our faculty sending the individual dates to students each time they ask. Many times a student can submit incorrect dates on their excuse forms because they can't remember the exact date they were marked absent as well.
