Adam Sentz @Sam - Perhaps your Director of Enrollment Management could try using tags to mark the students as needed and then use mailing lists to send to just the desired people?

Sam Horowitz That conflicts with the advice not to use tags for things that Populi generally tracks. I don't want him tagging people with an "open application" tag or similar. Particularly because in this example, the same person who doesn't need the email this time does need it next time if their application hasn't progressed. It's be nice if in the list of email recipients that's printed, there was a way to remove single entry.

Sam Horowitz Alright here's another use-case for the ability to remove arbitrary addresses from the email editor:
From Registrar: "Whenever I need to email a class, Populi always includes the faculty and TAs on the email chain. People like [Professor A] and [Professor B] do not need to receive copies of the registration email I sent to DWS702 yesterday (...just like I do not need to receive emails from [A] and [B] explaining why they don't need to receive those emails). In order to keep instructors off an email, I have to manually remove all faculty and TAs from the course info page, send the email, then go back in and re-add all faculty and TAs. A total waste of time, and prone to error if I momentarily forget someone…

Adam Sentz @Sam - The new Roster will allow you to email just the students you want. Hopefully that will help your Registrar our http://populi.co/blog/2014/03/coming-soon-the-new-course-roster-new-layout-new-features-and-finalize-by-student/

Sam Horowitz That would solve the problem in this particular use-case.
