There was a way (about a year ago) that tests could be edited even though students were working on them. This is no longer available. I think it could be a helpful tool especially when issues come up with test question errors.
If the professor could change the test (say a question that was written incorrectly or adding audio files or documents) once the test was already open by students, this could be very helpful.

Adam Sentz I'm not sure exactly what you're thinking of, but being able to edit tests or questions that have been used on tests was nixed years ago. I wanna say four or five. RGBI has been with us longer than that so it's possible you experienced the ability to do that, but it caused some significant problems.
There's definitely merit to the idea of correcting errors (like a bad answer key), but we'd need to take a different approach to let you fix things without disrupting the integrity of tests already taken or in progress.

It could possibly be something complicated like have the students be able to take the updated test again without losing the answers on the previous test. It is probably wayyy easier said than done of course.

Adam Sentz Right now your best options are to make a correction on the students test to account for the error, allow a retake, or delete the bad test thereby allowing them to take it again. Which one works best probably depends on how bad the error on the test was.
