When a student signs up for a course he has already taken, there is no warning or notification to him that he has previously had the course.
Sometimes the student deliberately signs up for the course again, to retake it for a higher grade. But most of the time the student signs up by accident.
There needs to be a red flag (validity check) that would cause a student to click that they deliberately are retaking the course.
This would be very helpful as we have numerous students sign up for courses the have taken previously each semester and it is a lot of work to go through each degree audit to make sure there are no issues.
Populi now indicates on the registration page if a student has already passed a course. If the student attempts to register for the course, Populi asks them to confirm they want to take the course again.
When staff are manually enrolling students...Is there a warning, like the warning that a course's max enrollment has been reached?
