It is a nightmare trying to get students to print and sign their award letters. DOE requires it for my compliance audit. It also make sure that the see exactly what aid they have coming and the funds that they are borrowing and sign off on it.
it would be great if there was some way for them to digitally sign. I did it with some real estate papers I signed. Or at lest at the bottom of the award letter a box for them to tick and say that they approve and accept all of the aid.
