customization of the application email

We use multiple applications in populi. We have one for Admission and we have one for scholarships. We have our Admissions Application on our website for students to access, but the scholarship application is manually sent when a student has been accepted for admission. When we select for the scholarship application to be sent out, it sends them a generic email that says, "Thank you for starting your application." When the recipient sees this, in there mind, they think "I have already applied" and the email is ignored. If would be nice to be able to customize the emails so that it is for informative and we can give a clear call to action.

I have attached an image of what the current generic email looks like.

  I agree. We have a similar process that requires multiple apps on one profile. We would love to be able to customize the message that is sent out to include the applicant's name and program of interest or other important information, especially when multiple applicants share one email address, it is very confusing to keep the applications straight with the current messaging.

  I agree. We also have different applications and the auto generated email is very dull and not at all personal. We would like to be able to personalize this for each person so they feel well taken care of. We also have different applications for elective classes and CEUs and definitely would be nice to customize.

  I'd like to see this email customized for a different reason: adding instructions. 
  
  Our potential students don't realize that the link in the email is the only way to get back into their application once they've started it. We'd like to add some text to the body of the email telling them how to complete a partially started app. 
  
  Otherwise, they cannot figure out how to get back into it and end up asking us for another link.

  This is actually a great reason. I also would like to see this feature added. It is confusing and students do not know how to get back to the application. Thank you Jacob.

  Yes! Please! I agree with all of the other users on this thread. I'd love to be able to add my school's logo and have automated emails go to the applicant when various steps in the application process have been met. Is there a timeline on when this kind of feature will be implemented? Or am I missing it somewhere?

  Seems like customizing the communications from the system would be a pretty high priority enhancement. Especially with the significant focus on email security and delivery, the application email from Populi isn't great.
