I would like to see a way to pull a report that confirms whether professors have taken attendance for all class periods in a particular class for a semester (without having to look at each class individually). I know about the Academics > Reporting > Attendance report for an overview of attendance records, but this is too broad for my needs. I also know about Academics/Academic Term/Courses/Show Progress. This last course progress view shows when attendance was last taken for all classes in an individual semester, but I also want to know if a professor missed taking attendance on a random class period during the semester. It seems there is not a current way to do that without clicking through every class.
Also, is there a way to make an attendance warning banner display when a professor finalizes the class without completing attendance for each class period (similar to the one that shows when there are missing assignment grades)? (Maybe these are two separate feature requests, but they were related in my mind.) Sometimes, our faculty forget to input attendance for all the class periods in a given class and since we have certain policies tied to our attendance records, this is an issue. I want to make it harder for faculty to inadvertently forget and easier for me to help them check.
