We have a number of custom fields for uploading individual or multiple files. These files may be uploaded by various staff members and are not necessarily retained on hard drives after being uploaded. Thus, it would be helpful to be able to quickly download these files in bulk when they need to be used outside of Populi.
It's easy enough to access the links in a field by filtering for that field, or adding it as a column, in the Data Slicer. But to retrieve the actual file, you have to click the link, wait for it to open the file viewer, click the three-dot menu, click download, and close the file viewer.
It would be great to instead have an Action for "Download all the files that are shown as links in this report view." Or, to use checkboxes to select students from the results and then use an Action to "Download all the files that are shown as links for the selected students."
A similar request is this one for exporting links to files rather than the files themselves.
