Lesson "development/hidden from students" option

It would be great to have an option to hide lessons from students that are still in the development stage. The work around is to always have the availability set to a future date but the date assumes a specific time and that day and time is not always known (and sometimes relies on how fast one can build the lesson). A "development" stage or a "hide from students view" option would be great.
