I like the potential of the new Groups feature. As it is developed more, I can see great functionality for Populi use.
These are some ideas:
- Assign "To-Dos" to members in a group or to the group as a whole. (these could have due dates, descriptions, etc.)
- Implement Populi Dashboard alerts to activity within a group. (Bulletin posts, live chat, files, etc.)
- Email/Text members of a group.
- Apply Communication Plan to a group.
I think the potential is huge. This would eliminate third-party software we use for communication, allowing us to integrate with Populi even further.
