Ideas for Groups

I like the potential of the new Groups feature. As it is developed more, I can see great functionality for Populi use.

These are some ideas:

• Assign "To-Dos" to members in a group or to the group as a whole. (these could have due dates, descriptions, etc.)
• Implement Populi Dashboard alerts to activity within a group. (Bulletin posts, live chat, files, etc.)
• Email/Text members of a group.
• Apply Communication Plan to a group.

I think the potential is huge. This would eliminate third-party software we use for communication, allowing us to integrate with Populi even further.

  Nic Toney - Thanks for the input. Groups is definitely an area we have some ideas for.

  Feature requests need to be limited in scope to one particular feature, rather than a group of feature ideas for one particular area, so we can accurately gauge feedback and votes. If you'd like to submit any of these as individual requests please do.
