Stephanie Carroll - I would think FERPA is going to govern how you treat those records in your case. Populi is built to comply with FERPA.

Stephanie Carroll: The relevant pages of that guidance document appear to be pp. 6-7 (Question 7). As to the access roles to ensure FERPA-compliant use of the data, you may want to file a support ticket with Populi to see what user roles might be the best to assign to an athletic trainer so he/she could see just the information that is pertinent to them.
